We caught up with this amazing band on two stages of their ‘Library Tour’ - and getting the band to ask their own questions gave us the opportunity to give this film its own unique style for Mercury Records.
Usher: Here I Stand
After a three year absence, we were there to capture the excitement of Usher’s album launch at an ‘intimate’ gig at the O2, and we were there to capture the excitement for Sony BMG, turning the film round in a short space of time so it could be used to its fullest extent.
Razorlight: Razorlight Album Launch
Coming in halfway through the production meant we had to work doubly hard to keep the message of this album to it being ‘all about the band’ and not just charismatic frontman Johnny Borrell (who’s also a very nice chap).
The Rapture: Pieces Of The People We Love
The band were tired and didn’t feel like they’d given the interview their best - they challenged us to add SFX to juice it up a bit - and it was our pleasure, seeing as they’re one of our favourite bands! We tried to keep it in-style with their classic video for ‘House Of Jealous Lovers’ and it paid off, resulting in Mercury Records asking us to put together the adverts for the album launch.
Q Magazine: New To Glastonbury
Just Jack, Jack Penate and Mr Hudson played a showcase gig for Q Magazine online, and we were there to make a vodcast for EMAP Publishing in a fast turnaround to get it ready before the festival.
